Professional Growth & Development •For Helping Professionals in Schools And Other Settings • For Regular & Special Education Educators •Organizational & Program Development •Helping Professionals Since 1980, Kevin Red Bear Dubrow LCSW has offered consultation towards professional growth development for those in the helping professionals (i.e. social workers, psychologists, and counselors) in the school setting as well for private practitioners and agencies. He has been a consultant for many, many school districts (K-12) and special education cooperatives. He has helped train many helping professionals to become wounded healers and alchemists for transformation. He has helped many helping professionals become skilled, competent, creative and effective agents for change. He has an incredible passion and gift for guiding helping professionals to become mentors. Although he draws on many, many models and paradigms of counseling, therapy and mentorship, he is anchored in Jungian wisdom in the consultation and professional development he offers. • One area of focus is working with THE most angry, acting-out, aggressive, bullying, hostile student • Another focus is on working with the student who completely and utterly lacks social skills, interpersonal relationship skills and communication skills (i.e. “geek”, “nerd”, “weirdo”, “scapegoat”). • An additional focus is students’ who lack or have no motivation, depressed, numb, apathetic, shut down and/or despairing (i.e. self-destructive, severe acting-in) • Consultation, training and professional development with regular and special education educators can also focus on the above three areas. Educators Utilizing an innovative small group dynamics and process approach to the regular education classroom and the special education classroom, Kevin Red Bear Dubrow LCSW offers consultation and training programs for educators. New teachers to the very experienced teacher will find consultation and professional development programs to provide an opportunity to gain NEW tools and skills and sharpen and polish existing tools and skills as well as guide the human being who is a teacher to renew motivation, passion, creativity, meaning and satisfaction.
