THE GREEN MAN and the GREEN WOMAN WALKING GENTLY ON MOTHER EARTH UNDER FATHER SKY: A CELEBRATION OF NATURE Program written by and presented by Kevin Red Bear Dubrow LCSW This program was presented before student leaders and faculty advisers from over 300 Illinois secondary school environmental clubs and received a rousing standing ovation. For the past 25 years, the program has been shared with entire school staffs, classes, colleges, universities, agencies, hospitals, organizations, unions, corporations, probation and court officers and conferences… it has always received outstanding evaluations and almost always standing ovations. The program is continually being changed and transformed. No two programs are ever the same. The program is always redesigned based on those it will be shared with and what Red Bear learns on his journey. The program is available: • One time workshop of 2, 4, or 6 hours • A series of programs (2 to 8 programs) • Combined with other programs (i.e. Storytelling) The Green Man and the Green Woman Walking Gently on Mother Earth under Father Sky shares the wisdom of many indigenous peoples from around the Earth regarding Nature. The program uses many teachings, tools, messages, learning, stories and understandings to touch the minds and hearts. The program presented by Red Bear with great passion, pathos, humor, energy and joy. The program has changed the thinking, attitudes, feelings and lives of many human beings who have experienced it. |
